General education school in the Kukhari village
The troops of aggressor destroyed all administrative buildings in the village. The main structure of the Kukhari Educational Association “General Education School – Kindergarten” remained almost undamaged (3,000 sq. m.). Restoration of building will also allow the placement of a medical clinic, a cultural institution, a Board of Elders office and other structures necessary for the Community, and turn it into an educational, cultural, administrative and social center of the Kukhari United Community (Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region).
Expected effect: Dozens of children will be able to return to normal education and life.

Lyceum of Vyshneve town “IDEAL”
The school building was built in 1989 and has insufficient capacity to current date, in particular, due to the need to provide educational services to the children of relocated citizens. The occupancy of the school at the end of 2021 is 117% of the design capacity.
There are 1,800 pupils and the average number in classes of the primary school is 35 pupils (with a norm of no more than 24 pupils), in the senior school – 31 pupils. Some lessons have to be held in the Assembly Hall. There is a tendency to increase the number of pupils in the institution, because in the 2020-2021 academic year 175 pupils were enrolled in the 1st grade, and in the 2021-2022 academic year – 224 pupils. The increase was 28%. At present time, this school remains the only one in Vyshneve United Territorial Community that provides training in one shift, but there are all prerequisites for the transition of the educational institution to training in two shifts. There is an acute shortage of classrooms for opening new classes and reducing the burden on all participants in the educational process.
The Town Council planned the reconstruction of the building of the Lyceum “IDEAL” with the extension of one additional educational building.
Expected effect: Hundreds of children will be able to return to normal education and life.

School of Kriukivshchyna village for 528 pupils
Kriukivshchyna village school on 12-А Michurina Street consists of 3 buildings: the main educational building (2 and 3 floor, built in 1992), the auxiliary educational building (1 floor, built in 1956) and the new educational building (3 floor, built in 2022 buildings).
The occupancy of the existing school, as of January 1, 2022, is 229% of the design capacity. In general, the capacity of the school is 784 pupils in one shift, the actual capacity of the school is 1832 pupils. Children do not have enough space in classrooms, so they have to study in recreation rooms converted to classrooms and simply in corridors. Physical education lessons, due to the small old sports hall and the overcrowding of the school, pupils are forced to study 2-3 classes together. The school does not have the opportunity to create a teacher’s room, a methodical office, a room for relaxation and psychological relief for teachers, as well as to hold extracurricular activities and groups for children.
There are not enough toilets for the available number of children.
The school building suffers from flooding with rainwater due to the lack of a rainwater drainage system on the school grounds. During heavy rains and snowmelt, the foundations, the heating station and the school’s communications are flooded, which leads to an unbearable stench in the school premises.
Expected effect: The reconstruction of the school building will increase the capacity of the school and provide decent conditions for learning.

Secondary school No. 2 of Vyshneve town
The school has 1,328 pupils, 47 classes (average class size – 28.3), who study in two shifts, of which 3 classes are in the evening department. 17 classes have more than 30 pupils each. In the institution, it is impossible to create proper conditions for learning, there are difficulties with the organization of pupils’ meals, sports and recreation, extracurricular and after-hours work, work with gifted children, work of extended day groups.
The school has 1 sports hall, in which lessons are held simultaneously for several classes. The capacity of the food block does not meet sanitary standards, which makes it impossible to maintain social distance. There is no Assembly Hall.
Children in grades 5-11 do not have access to drinking water, because due to lack of space, the appropriate equipment is installed only in the building for younger grades. There is a lack of space for the equipment of modern classrooms and laboratories.
Expected effect: The project envisages the reconstruction of the building of school No. 2 with the completion of three additional buildings – educational, economics and sports. These measures will increase the capacity of the school and change the conditions for receiving educational services at the school.

Bomb shelters in schools
In this dangerous time, parents and teachers should be sure of the safety of their children at schools. Therefore, our Fund, together with local communities, takes care of the issue of setting up school bomb shelters.
Objectively, the majority of educational institutions are not ready to educate children in safety, meaning, they currently do not have shelter.
Currently, with the assistance of the OASIS, a number of educational institutions have already been provided with places for shelter in case of an air raid, etc.
